Services
A well-done evergreen book can become your tireless virtual business development representative.
A book can introduce you to ideal clients, confirm your expertise, establish trust, and inspire them to action—before you even know they’re looking.
We'll work with you to write a great book that’s worthy of serious consideration by a top publisher.
One that your readers will rave about and recommend—and that will continue to create value for you and your business for years to come.

If you’ve never written a book before (and even if you have) writing a good one is a craft unto itself that starts with figuring out what the book is about, who will be reading it, and exactly how it will get done.
Our discovery and roadmap engagement results in a comprehensive strategic plan for making sure the book will forward your business goals and align with your solution framework.
We’ll define the book’s purpose, audience as well as its “controlling idea” and working table of contents. We’ll also collect a fair bit of content for the book along the way!
If you want to work with us—and we hope you do—the next step would be for us to use the report to create a detailed proposal for helping you develop the book, including co-writing and even quarterbacking the entire book project, if desired.

A solution framework your structured approach to analyzing and solving problems.
If you’re a consultant, you probably already have one, you just need to write it down! My experience is that people learn a lot about their own process by going through this exercise with me.
A framework will make it much easier to communicate what your problem solving approach is and reassures readers (and clients) that your process is proven and repeatable. It’s another reason for people to trust you.
In addition, basing a book on your solution framework automatically creates a logical flow of content.
It also helps you to determine what type of anecdotes, advice, and observations to include, and which ones to can be left out.

You’re an expert in your field and you’ve been doing it so long you don’t realize how much you know much less the best way to teach it to others.
You’re a good writer and enjoy it but don’t have the time to put every word on the page, nor do you know how to structure what you know into a book format.
In addition to helping you with the book strategy and structure, a co-writer functions as an editor, thought partner, researcher, and reader advocate from day one.
-
I will meet you wherever you are as a writer as long as you have the expertise and a point of view to share.
Some people love to write and are good at it—they just need some coaching the art of writing a compelling business book.
However, most experts don’t feel the need to be the one to put the words on the page.
As a ghostwriter, my main job is to get the book out of you through a series interviews over Zoom, which will be recorded and transcribed. Which I’ll then use to make you sound like the best version of yourself.
-
My main responsibility as a developmental editor is to advocate for the reader.
With that in mind, I will help you sequence and shape the the book so that it delivers a frictionless reader experience, making the book one they won’t want to end and will recommend to others. -
When Executive Words takes on your project, we consider ourselves responsible for the entire experience—from big idea to book in hand.
We have amazing partners for copy editing, design, publishing and promotion. Once you’re under our wing you can be assured that it will be a five-star experience no matter who is handling the task.
